UN PRINCIPLES for Responsible Investment (PRI)
A CommitteD Signatory of the UN-PRI
As a proud signatory of the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (UN-PRI) since 2021, the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF) stands at the forefront of sustainable finance.
The UN-PRI, with over 5,348 signatories managing US$128.4 trillion in assets, is the world’s leading advocate for responsible investment, providing a global framework for integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into investment decisions.
The six PRI principles guide institutional investors in aligning their strategies with long-term value creation and responsible business conduct. By embracing these principles, ECBF reinforces its mission to accelerate the transition from a fossil-based to a bio-based economy, actively incorporating ESG due diligence, supporting policy engagement, and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability across our portfolio.
